Audience Feedback and Style Guides

Feedback:
Although we'd like to keep this as a relatively closed site, it's still worth getting other students (in different years) to feedback on your work and elements of your blog.

Style Guides:
It's essential that each group develops its own style guide. We'd strongly suggest that each guide contains (as a minimum the following:
  • agreed colours with pantone references
  • fonts (other than the blog) a maximum of four would be advisable
  • consistency of layout and design
  • remember that these will have to match across the range of products you're making; print, web and video
Enjoy half-term, but please don't waste it!

Production Schedule

All groups must ensure that their production schedules are now posted on the noticeboards in the department.

Key Evaluative Questions

Greetings Bloggers!

Just a note to remind you all of the importance of taking time in your blogs to analyze your research and explain how it has shaped your ideas moving forward. In addition to this you must make sure you address the key evaluative questions in your blog. The questions are below;
1.  In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

2.  How effective is the combination of your main and ancillary texts?

3.  What have you learned from your audience feedback?

4.  How did you use new media technologies in the construction research, planning and evaluation stages?

It is vital that you cover these areas during the production process.

Blog Addresses Needed

It is essential that all students give Mr. White or Mr. Palmer your blog address. This is needed so your teachers can follow your blog, make comments and eventually mark your work! You can submit the addresses at school over the next few days.

Many Thanks
Mr. White
